Larry carries out to my car a rare Junior counter pin, Genco, 1937. This was the first pin I bought from Larry, but certainly not the last!

. This pin was sold as a free standing pin or a counter pin, the latter much less common. Other collectors have told me they have owned or seen this full sized pin, but never the counter version. It's missing the playfield glass, and head's backdoor. Thankfully, the door is still there, often missing from project pins of this era. Some genius applied two coats of orange latex paint, which can easily be removed with Goof-off or other paint removers. Underneath, it was bare wood, but no biggie. The Internet Pinball Database shows pics of this pin, with a very basic cabinet pattern. |
