Jeff takes great care in setting up his games, and they arrive without a scratch.

Although the playfields are similar in many bingos, the rules and mechanics vary.  If you own a bingo, considering getting one, or just want to learn more about what the heck a bingo pinball machine is, I highly recommend the book, Bally Bingo Pinball Machines, 1999, 160 pages, published by Schiffer Books, written by the man himself.

Load this game into Pingeek's van, I mean uh, set it over there;)

"Mr. Amusement" sets up a booth with lots of stuff for your gameroom.

The Rileys troubleshooting a Gottlieb "Hot Shots" pin.

Bob Thurman came from Long Island as he does every year, bringing an interesting assortment of EMs and solid state pins.

On the right, off in the distance is a Bally "Bazaar" pin.  Just three month before, at Pinball Fantasy 2006 in Vegas, I saw Rick Stetta, pinball tournament legend, rack up quite a score on this pin.  It was a few thousand I think, and on a Bally 60's pin, it can be tricky to break even a thousand.  "Royal Guard" is on the left.

Bruce Moyer and Mickey Treat are at the The York Show every year!

The electromechanical pins got played quite a bit, and these are what bring me to a pinball show in the first place.

Yes, it was an exciting time for all!

This year I blew all my money outside at the flea market. Had I watched my spending a bit, I would have taken home this pin, a Playmatic 1976 New World pin.  It features targets that appear to be stationary, but they drop!  This is an excellent bicentennial themed pin, with cool art, and an acrylic or something playfield, so they are almost always like new!
